Norman Penoyer, 81, of Ottawa, passed away on Thursday night, February 13, 2020 at Parker Nursing Home, in Streator. Private services will take place on a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral home in Ottawa. Norman was born on February 8, 1939 in Ottawa to Alfred and Evelyn (Rice) Penoyer. Norman worked as an operating engineer, and was very skilled at fabricating and building. He owned and operated NH Penoyer Blasting. He is survived by 4 children, Susan, Stewart, David, and Matthew, 2 grandchildren, Anthony and Hannah, a great grandson, Jayce, a brother Fred Penoyer and 2 sisters Alice Ehret and Helen Penoyer. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Gene and Johnny Penoyer, and 2 sisters, Rose Palma and Katy.
