Anna Di Benedetto

Anna Di Benedetto (nee Solimene), of Little Falls, passed away on Friday, February 14th 2020, at her home. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Tuesday, February 18th at Holy Angels Church, in Little Falls. Entombment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visiting Monday, from 4-8pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove Street, Montclair. Anna was born and raised in Aquilonia, Italy, where she became an accomplished seamstress at a very early age. She emigrated to South Africa, and then later to the United States in 1969. She loved cooking, sewing, and enjoying the company of her family and friends. She was especially proud of her grandchildren. She was an active member in Club Aquilonese in Montclair, and Ieri-Oggi-Domani. Anna is survived by her children, Piero and his wife Cathi, her daughter-in-law Lisa, her grandchildren Tommy and his fiancée Gigi, Michael and Stephanie, her sister-in-law Maria and her husband John, Angelina, Connie, Flavia and Immacolata, many nieces and nephews, and her grand-dog Stella, and will be sadly missed by her caretaker Elenia. She was predeceased by her husband Gaetano in 2009, and her son Nicolino, by her brother Donato, and her brothers-in-law Gerardo and Donato.
