Sue Ann Cattano Obituary

Sue Ann LeRoux Cattano, of Morris Plains Nj passed away peacefully on February 13th, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at Morristown Medical Center. Born in Plainfield Nj to Russell and Margaret LeRoux on September 28, 1932; she resided in Morristown and MorrisPlains for the last 75 years. She was a graduate of Bayley Ellard High School in 1950. Her career began at Morristown Lumber with her father. While raising her family she worked in banking beginning with the Iron Bank in Morristown. She also worked at Powdermill Bank, Valley National Bank, First Morris Bank and Provident Bank. Her joy in life was her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She liked to spend her time watching Channel 7, reading, crocheting, cooking, doing crossword puzzles on her iPad, playing Rummikub and celebrating her Irish heritage. She was also a devoted member of St. Virgils church in MorrisPlains and enjoyed attending their Prime Time program. Sue Ann is survived by her children, Kellie and her husband Richard Rumble, Charles and his wife Lesley, Peter and his wife Susan, Daniel and his wife Kelly; her 13 wonderful grandchildren Daniel, Katherine, Lauren, Christopher, Chelsea, Megan, Emily, Samantha, Molly, Matthew, Sarah, Michael, Lyndsey; her 3 cherished great grandchildren Jordan, Amelia, and Charlotte; her loving sister Nancy LeRoux and many nieces and nephews. She was also known as Iggy to Elissa, Vincent, Louis, Andrew, John Paul, Andy, Crista, Victoria, Tyler and Jhazmyne. She is predeceased by her son Michael (2019), her infant grandson Jonathon (1996), her ex-husband Charles (2007) nee Bonnie Cattano, and her sister Monica Hager (2006) A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Virgils Church in Morris Plains on Friday February 21st at 10:00 AM. Hours of visitation at Doyle Funeral Home will be on Thursday February 20th from 4-8. In Lieu of flowers please send donations in honor of her son Michael to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (www.afsp.org).
