William Robert Taylor, Jr., known to some as, Bobby or Bill, but better known as Paw-Paw to his adored by grandchildren, passed away peacefully on 2/13/2020 surrounded by his love ones. Bill was born in Danville, Virginia to the late, Mamie S. Parsons and William R. Taylor, Sr. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Carol Barre and brother, Roy Taylor. He was the eldest of his siblings. His work ethic was instilled in him at a young age, he worked alongside his brother and sisters at a tobacco farm during the summer days. He was a father who worked hard for his family to provide for them and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Bill never missed a NASCAR race and looked forward to playing blackjack, poker and the slots at the casino. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Trish Waters, Joey Pocan (Amanda), Tommy Gaston, Mary Beth Brackett (Shane), Deborah Livingston (Brandon), Becky Gillespie (Tim) and Jenny Taylor; grandchildren, Tony, Alex, Ashlee, Ava, Eli, Tristan, Ryder, Tabitha, Gabriel and Ryan; sister, Brenda Crawford and other loving family and friends. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2pm at Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Rd., Chesapeake.
