Lora Stefanowicz, age 66, passed away on February 13, 2020. She was a resident of Berks Heim since 2007, where she was treated with kindness, dignity, professionalism, and loving care by the Berks Heim family staff. Lora was born in Reading, PA on December 7, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Genevieve (Smutek) Stefanowicz. She is the longtime companion, forever friend and love of Thomas W. Lewis Sr., Reading, PA. She was a 1971 graduate of Reading High School. Lora retired from CNA, Insurance Co. after 25 years of service. Throughout Lora’s life she had a hearty laugh, unbreakable strength and a million-dollar smile, in spite of her personal challenges. She was determined, brave, true to herself and will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know her. In addition to Tom, Lora is survived by sister Dawn, wife of Ralph Bibbus, Exeter Township, niece Chrystal, wife of Joshua Ferguson, Muhlenberg Township, Tom’s daughter, Sherry A. Parr, Robeson Township and Tom’s son Thomas W. Lewis Jr., Kenhorst. Visitation and services will be held at Lutz Funeral Home, 2100 Perkiomen Ave, Mt. Penn, Pa. on Thursday, February 20, 2020. Friends and family may call from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am followed by interment at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
