Denise Michelle Miller, 57, of Southport, FL went to be with her Lord Thursday, February 13, 2020. She was born June 1, 1962 in Pensacola, FL. Denise was a 1980 graduate of Mosley High School, and enjoyed baking cakes, exercising and shopping. She loved her sons and watching them play baseball from t-ball to college. Denise also loved worshiping the Lord, going to church and supporting her husband as pastor of Sand Hills Assembly of God. Those left to cherish Denise’s memory include her husband of thirty-nine years, Pastor Nixon Miller; sons, Nick Miller (Keri) and Seth Miller; daughter, Caylee Koubratoff (Brandon); granddaughter, Blakelee Koubratoff; parents, John and Martha Copeland; sisters, Debbie Lemieux (Randy), Donna Tarr, Dolores Hughes, and Doris Fowler (Jack); in-laws, Gerald and Linda Miller; many nieces, nephews, and church family. A special thanks to the nurses and staff at Charter Memory Care Unit and Covenant Hospice. Funeral services will begin 11:00 A.M., Monday, February 17, 2020 at Sand Hills Assembly of God with Pastor Nixon Miller and their sons, Nick and Seth officiating. The family will receive friends beginning 10:00 A.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow in Old Southport Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Covenant Hospice.
