Thelma M. Rifenburg
Thelma M. Rifenburg (nee: Seitters) 89, formerly of Elyria passed away Friday February 14, 2020 following a long illness. She was born May 21, 1930 in Wellington. Thelma enjoyed babysitting, travel and her cats. She had worked as a barmaid at Sam’s Rainbow Lanes in Elyria. Survivors include a sister; Marion Staylon, a sister in law; Waneta Smith, four nephews, six great nephews, nine great great nephews and nieces. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years; Roy L. Rifenburg, her parents; Earl and Mabel (nee: Davidson) Seitters, a sister; Helen Louise Bauer, three brothers; Jimmy Seitters, Paul Bell, Raymond Seitters. All services are private. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home of Elyria (440)322-4626.
