Lori Ann Sexton, 53, of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 3:45 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2020, surrounded by her family at her home. She had previously worked at Simonton Windows and Casey’s General Store in Paris. She was born February 10, 1967, in Clinton, Indiana. Survivors include three children, Tabitha (Brad) Osborn, Mike Griffin, and Todd Griffin, all of Paris; loving companion, Darin Griffin of Paris; a sister, Karen Jewell of Paris; two aunts, Janet Boatman and Betty Yocum both of Terre Haute, Indiana; four grandchildren, Gabe Osborn, Waylon Osborn, Annaleigh Griffin, and Khloe Griffin, all of Paris; and best friends, Ann Lunsford of Terre Haute, Indiana, and Machelle Murphy of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Josie Blackburn. Lori had fought a long battle for the last seven and a half years against colon cancer. She never gave up. She loved spending time with her family and friends, as well as with her four legged walking buddy, Jack. SERVICE INFORMATION A memorial service celebrating her life was conducted at 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2020, at Templeton Funeral Home in Paris, with Pastor Gordon Wonsey officiating.
