Olga Iris Muniz, 67, Yonkers, passed away in her home surrounded by loved ones on February 13, 2020. Olga was born on July 14, 1952 in Carolina, Puerto Rico to Consuelo (deceased) and Dolores (deceased). She was the only girl of six; William (deceased), Ramon (deceased), Frank (deceased), Roberto, and Papo. At the age of 17, she met her soulmate and love of her life, Luis A. Muniz Sr. They married on October 3, 1969 and have been happily married for 50 years. Olga was a loving mother to four sons and their wives; Luis Jr. (Vanessa), John (Stacey), Oliver (deceased) (Christine), and Dennis (Kimberlee) She was an adoring grandmother to her 9 grandchildren, Luis III, Jessica (Antonio), Kayla, Owen, Brianna, Dennis Jr., John Jr., Gabriel, and Emma. She was a caring great-grandmother to Emmaliese and Antonio R. Olga was a patient, loving women who dedicated her life to caring for others. She was a devote Christian who was an active member of her church community. She held her faith throughout her long battle with cancer and is now at peace and reunited with her son Oliver and her family. In lieu of flowers we respectfully request donations be made in her name to Hospice Care in Westchester and Putnam, 540 White Plains Road, Suite 300, Tarrytown, NY 10591. Visiting Hours will be held at the Flynn Memorial Home on Tuesday, February 18th from the hours of 4:00 to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday morning, February 19th at 10:00 am. Committal will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.
