Rocco Marotti
Loving Son & Brother Rocco J. Marotti, 67 of Belleville passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020. Born in East Orange, the son of John A. and Antoinette (DeBonis) Marotti, he was a lifelong resident of Newark. Prior to his retirement, Rocco worked as a maintenance man with the Belleville Board Education. He was a member of the Belleville Senior Citizens Tuesday and Thursday Clubs, an avid bowler and member of t e Mixed Nuts League in Belleville, he enjoyed spending time in Atlantic City and at the track and was an avid New York Yankee and New York Giants Fan. He is survived by his brother, Michael J. Marotti; his aunt, Rita Driza and many cousins. The funeral will be Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley at 8:30 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Belleville at 9:30 a.m. The interment will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton. Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, (https://www.cancer.org/) would be appreciated.September 17, 1952 - February 13, 202009/17/195202/13/2020
