Kenny Dingman, 48, of Creston died Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston. Celebration of Life Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 24, 2020 at the Powers Funeral Home 601 New York Ave. in Creston. Pastor Mary O’Riley will officiate. The family requests casual dress for the service. Burial will be at a later date in Scranton Cemetery. Open visitation will be noon-3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2020, with family receiving friends 1-3:00 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Kenny's family. Online condolences can be made at www.powersfh.com. Kenneth Thomas Dingman was born June 6, 1971 in Des Moines to Richard Allan Dingman and Roberta Ann (Clark) Dingman. He graduated from high school in 1989 from Orient-Macksburg High School. Kenny was married to Jennifer “Jenny” Leah Wallace on March 13, 2007 in Union County, IA. Kenny has always lived in Union county and was a member of the Army National Guard for 4 years. For the last 10 years he has ran Dingman Construction. He enjoyed fishing and farming in his spare time. Kenny was a member of the Lake Shore Country Club in Afton where he enjoyed golfing and having fun with his friends. He also was a great cook and at family gatherings he loved playing cards and other games. Survivors include his wife Jenny Dingman of Creston; son Brock Richard Dingman of Creston; daughter Corissa Kinkade (significant other Kyle Engel) of Des Moines; son Connor Kinkade (significant other Nicole Votroubek) of Des Moines; two brothers, Michael Dingman of Des Moines and Timothy (wife Annette) Dingman of Indianola, IA.; two sisters Michelle Hartman of Des Moines and Trish (husband Greg) Schroder of Indianola, Ia.; his mother & father in-law Duane (wife Sonja) Wallace of Orient; nieces & nephews, Aaron Dingman, Ashley Parsons, Sara Hartman, Tony Hartman, Ben Dingman, Travis Dingman, Alexa Alarcon, Elizabeth, Jessica and Laura Dingman; aunts & uncles, Marilyn Dingman, Lyle Dingman, Larry Dingman, Sharon (Roger) Hall, Deb (Lance) Wright; brothers and sisters-in-law, Eric (Linda) Stewart, Lee Stewart, Suzy (Stacy) Billetter and special friend Levi Buxton of Creston. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin daughters Maggie and Grace and his brother Scott Dingman in 2014. I am so sorry to hear of Kenny' passing,his last few months in the National Guard he was my driver,and a good troop. Scared the crap out of me more then once. I enjoyed the time I served with "dingy" I pray he is safely in the arms of Jesus. Danny Bedsworth
