Allan Tampellini

Allan Tampellini, 62, passed peacefully from this life into the next on January 2, 2017 in the VITAS Hospice Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital after a long illness. Al was born in Naugatuck, CT to the late Oscar and Lenore (O’Connor) Tampellini. He was a lifelong resident of Naugatuck, graduated from Naugatuck High School and spent his life in the building trades and was a talented carpenter. He is survived by brothers, Joseph and his wife Patricia and Patrick and his wife Rosemary; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins. Al was predeceased by his brother, Edward Tampellini. There are no calling hours. A final farewell will be at the convenience of the family. To honor Al’s memory, contributions may be sent to the VITAS Innovative Patient Care Unit, 56 Franklin Street, Waterbury, CT 06706.
