Michael R d’Orlando, 79, of Spring Hill, FL, passed away on February 13th, 2020. Michael d’Orlando was born to Ralph and Sabatina d’Orlando on October 10, 1940 in New York, New York. Michael is survived by his loving wife Patricia and his son, Michael C d’Orlando and his wife, Sherri Lee as well as his grandchildren Michael Griffin and Nicholas William. He was Catholic by faith and an Army Veteran. He loved spending time with his grandsons and was their biggest fan on and off the racetrack. He also enjoyed fishing and shooting for recreation. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus here in Florida and when he lived in New York as well. Michael had the hands of a craftsman and was a carpenter by trade. While living in New York, Michael built a country home in upstate New York where he loved to spend time with family and friends. Michael had a fantastic sense of humor, he loved to make people laugh, but didn’t like a lot of attention on himself. Michael will be placed at Florida National Cemetery on March 16, 2020 at 9:30AM where he will receive an Honor Guard salute in recognition of his service for his country.
