Margaret E. Schmiedeberg

<p>Margaret "Elsie" Schmiedeberg, 94, of Easton, passed away in Cedarbrook - Fountain Hill, on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020. She was the wife of the late Robert D. Schmiedeberg who passed in 1990. Born in Meineschaft Germany, she was a daughter of the late Heinrich and Elizabeth (Boll) Velten. She was a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing in Hoboken, NJ and worked as a nurse in area hospitals from 1944 to 1975 when she retired. She was a former Parishioner of St. Jane Frances De Chantal Church, where she was active in the parish "Catholic Daughters" and the Altar and Rosary Society. </p><p><br></p><p>Survivors: She is survived by her daughter, Joan Conover-Kunsman (Brian) of Saylorsburg and grandchildren, Mark Parisi (Samantha), Donald Conover (Sarah), Sean Conover (Leesha) and 3 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and sisters.</p><p><br></p><p>Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing this Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 -11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM all from the JAMES FUNERAL HOME 527 Center St. Bethlehem. After cremation, her remains will be entombed in Northampton Memorial Shrine.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
