Cynthia Deuel
Cynthia Jane Deuel, age 66, of Janesville, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020, at Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center, Janesville. She was born in Illinois on Dec. 8, 1953, the daughter of Ethermer and Phyllis (Brown) Sisley. Cynthia was raised in Illinois and later moved to the Janesville area where she owned and operated Cindy and Smitty’s Hoot’n Holler on Hwy 51 in Beloit. She later worked for the Department of Correction in Arizona as a cook before moving back to Janesville. She married Lamar Deuel on Aug. 22, 2015 in Las Vegas, NV. She is survived by her husband, Lamar; 2 brothers, Tom Sisley and Scott Hardesty; as well as step children; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 former husbands; a brother, Ron Sisley; and sister, Susan Hardesty. A Celebration of Cindy’s Life will begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the VFW Post 1621, 1015 Center Ave. Janesville.
