Larry Joseph Hutchinson Obituary

Goldsboro-Larry Joseph Hutchinson, 72, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020. Born in Ashland, Kentucky on May 7, 1947, he was the son of the late Donald and Emetene Hutchinson. Larry proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1968-1971 during the Vietnam Conflict. Following his military service he married and settled in Goldsboro where he raised his family. He worked many years in the car business and also sold insurance. Larry loved riding Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, all sports, and NASCAR. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate his life at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial with military honors will be Friday at 12:00 noon at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. Larry is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Kathy Hutchinson; sons, Matthew Hutchinson and Bradley Hutchinson and wife Mandy; grandchildren, Katie, Ansley, and Charlee; siblings, Dennis Hutchinson and wife Almeeda and Jeanie Riley and husband Joe, all of Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
