Brenda J. (Davis) Leavey, 62, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on February 5, 2020 at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Brenda was born on March 14, 1957 to John and Margie Davis and grew up in Sparks, Kansas with her 8 siblings. Brenda is survived by her son Frankie Leavey and his wife, Dana, and her daughter, Angela Taylor. She is also survived by 7 siblings, 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild on the way, as well as many nieces and nephews. Brenda was a hard-working mother who took care of her children and many more. In addition to her family, She had an extended family of people who considered her their mom and grandma- she was a kind, loving soul who always put others first. If you needed someone, she was always there, whether you were her own or not, she took care of you. Brenda was an awesome cook who tried to teach everyone her country history through her cooking. She was incredibly devoted to her family and friends. Brenda taught them how to be responsible, respectful, but most of all, how to live life to the fullest. She loved living life and always wanted to put a smile on everybody’s face. She was the kind of person to put everyone’s needs before her own. As long as you were taken care of, she could be happy. Brenda will be terribly missed every single day by the many people whose lives she touched.
