Udo Lingmann of West Valley City, Utah, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at St. Mark’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. He was born September 17, 1951, in Glauchau, Germany to Lieselotte (Gruner) and Henry Lingmann. He is survived by his partner, Cass Smith; his Children; Alisha (Jolley), Christopher, Jeffrey, and Aaron Lingmann; His sister Elona Hayward (Murray), brothers Knut (Charli), Michael (Laurie), Dennis, and cousin Danny Vilart. Udo had many nieces and nephews who loved him tremendously. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Connie Kelson. He worked in non-destructive testing at Thermo Processing until he retired in 2018. Udo lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; computer games, home improvement projects, and spending time with friends and family. He will always be remembered for his thoughtfulness and kindness to others. We love you and you will truly be missed. Until we meet again…
