Fay Jones Coker, 73, passed away peacefully at her home in Grenada, MS on Thursday, February 6, 2020. Born February 5, 1947. She was the daughter of the late James C Jones and the late Margaret Jones of Calhoun City, MS. She was retired from Heat Craft, Grenada. She was a loving Mother to her daughter, Stephanie Coker Lucius and her two granddaughters, Jordan Cauthen (Austin) and Lexie Byford, both of Grenada. They were her pride and joy! She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada. She loved flowers, loved working in her yard, very creative, and loved keeping in touch with family and friends on Facebook. Fay will be missed by her family and many friends. Pryor Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family. Visitation will be Saturday, February8, 2020 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm and funeral service will follow at 2:00pm at Pryor Funeral Home in Calhoun City, MS. Bro. Howard Jones will be officiating. Interment will follow at Red Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marty Baker, Andy Mulky, Austin Cauthen, Jeremy Byford, Nathaniel Lucius, and Caleb Lucius. Honorary Pallbearers will be Garrison Eatmon and Jesse Walls. She leaves behind a daughter, Stephanie Coker Lucius and husband Tony; 2 granddaughters, Jordan Cauthen and husband Austin, and Lexie Byford, all of Grenada; sister, Brenda Jones Baker and husband Jerry of Calhoun City; 2 brothers, Randy Jones of Calhoun City, James Everette Jones and wife Paulette of Bude, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, a brother, Charles Ray Jones, and her loving husband, Harold Coker. Expressions of sympathy may be left for the family at pryorfuneralhome.com.
