Ken D. Crooks peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, December 9, 2019 at his home in Norwalk. A private family service will be held at a later date with interment in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines. Ken was born in Lucas County, Iowa to Gerald and Georgia Crooks. Ken and Marcia recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. They spent many of these years in Corydon and Indianola while Ken owned his home building business. Ken was an avid deer hunter and Iowa Hawkeyes Fan but he really loved any sports he could watch on TV. His biggest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. Ken is survived by his wife Marcia, Daughter Kerri (Matt) Lundberg, Son Chisolm; 3 children from a previous marriage, daughter Julie Savage, daughter Debbie Potthoff, and son K.D. Crooks; Grandchildren, Chloe, Adley, Braeden and Marley along with many other friends and family.
