Levi Colt Gerkin

Levi Colt Gerkin, 16, of Keenesburg, passed away on January 30, 2020 in Unincorporated Adams County. He was born to Vince and Helena (Dowler) Gerkin on June 11, 2003 in Brighton, Colorado. Levi attended Hoff Elementary, Weld Central Middle School, and Weld Central High School in Keenesburg. He participated in a variety of sports during his athletic career, most recently, varsity football and varsity wrestling. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. He was adored by many and loved by all. Levi’s incredible love for everything in life was amazing. Levi loved the beautiful outdoors, enjoying fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, boating, ATV’s and loved crafting things with wood. He enjoyed spending time with his friends/teammates, girlfriend, and family. Levi is survived by his parents; siblings, Kayla Gerkin, Bryonna (Brandon)Eskew, Courtney Gerkin and Wyatt Gerkin; nephew, Dawson Eskew; grandparents, Charlotte and Lester Dowler and Carole Gerkin; girlfriend, Ashleigh Barnes and many other friends and relatives. Levi was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lawrence Gerkin who passed the same day of Levi’s birth. Memorial Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm, Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue in Greeley. Life Celebration memorial will be held at 10 am, Friday, February 7, 2020 Weld Central High School, 4715 WCR 59 in Keenesburg with reception to follow at South East Weld County Fairgrounds, 7758 WCR 59 in Keenesburg.
