NAUGATUCK, CT Kathryn Anna (Speese) (Wallock) Allen, 99, died peacefully Monday, March 9, 2015 at her home. Kathryn was the widow of Oliver Frank Wallock and George Allen. Kathryn was born October 21, 1915 in Paw Paw, Michigan, the daughter of the late Rodney H. Speese and Nita C. (Prater) Speese. She was a retired employee of Peter Paul and she was a member of the United Methodist Church of Naugatuck. Kathryn is survived by her son, Oliver Frank Wallock of Springfield, MA and her daughter, Karen Monaco of Naugatuck. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 1:00pm at the United Methodist Church of Naugatuck, 214 Meadow Street. Burial will be at a later date in Grove Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue.
