With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Henry Wayne Ralph, “Poppy” on January 28, 2020 at the age of 68. He passed away peacefully in his home in Conception Bay South surrounded by his devoted family. Wayne is predeceased by his parents, Ronald and Olive Ralph, his daughter Jennifer, twin brother David, younger brother Clifford, nephew Donnie King and Keith Hendry, who he embraced as a son. Left with loving memories are his partner in life, Judy Perchard, his children Michael (Marie), Owen (Sean), Allan (Christa), Carla (Adam), and their mother Donna Ralph, his step-children Amy Martin (Adam) and Garrett Wells (Stephen), brothers Ronald and Frank (Shirley), sisters Clara Cuthbert (Jim) and Joyce King (Don), grandchildren, who were the light of his life, Lacey, Kyle, Jonah, Madison and Landon; Poppy’s furry little boy Pirate; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. He was a larger than life character with a heart as big to match. A kind and selfless person, who would help a stranger as if they were his family. He was an exceptional man and will be missed by those whose lives he touched. The family would like to thank the urology staff of 5 South B, Health Sciences Centre, Dr. Matthew Andrews, Nurse Lana Mah, staff of 2 South at the L.A. Miller Centre, and the community health nurses of C.B.S, especially Alana Snow, for their exceptional care and kindness. Visitation to be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, Commonwealth Avenue, Mt. Pearl on Thursday January 30th from 4:00 – 9:00 pm and Friday January 31st from 10:00 am – 9:00 pm. Funeral service to be held from Church of the Ascension, 58 Smallwood Drive, Mount Pearl, on Saturday February 1st, 2020 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted, or a donation to a children’s charity of one’s choice. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Wayne's life.
