Karen Sales, age 73, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away on January 19, 2020 at home surrounded byfamily. Karen is survived by her husband, Jim and her son Robert Furchak of Spring Hill, her daughter Lisa Lim and her husband Wonyoung of Kenmore, Washington; her step-daughters Jessica Tresidder and her husband Russ of Colonia, New Jersey and Amy Krahling and her husband, John, of Spring Hill. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Timothy Furchak and his wife Destiny who are both active military; Melanie and Matthew Oliva of Colonia, New Jersey; Rebecca Krahling of Spring Hill; and Elenore Lim of Kenmore, Washington. Karen is also survived by her dear, life-long friends, Janet and Rich Grubel. Karen was originally from Roselle, New Jersey where she was a member of the Girls Scouts and attended First Presbyterian Church. She was active in choir and glee club and played the French horn in band. Karen previously worked for Phelps Dodge and Partnerships for People. She loved her family and enjoyed taking cruises and vacations. She battled pancreatic cancer courageously for 19 months.
