Robert Brooks passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 15, 2020 in Highland Park, IL. Bob was married to the love of his life Juliann for 29 years and was the cherished father to Elizabeth (28), Robert J. (27), and Angela (21). Dear son of Nancy and the late Robert J. Brooks. Beloved brother to Martin (Jennifer) Brooks, Peter (Jodi) Brooks, and the late Steven. Dear brother-in-law to Mary Brooks, Honorable Victoria A. Rossetti & Douglas Zeit, Louis & Rinda Rossetti, Toni Marie & Stuart Bryant, Michael & Judi Rossetti, Rocky & Lori Rossetti. Fond uncle to Josh & Lisa Brooks, Rese Brooks, Oz Brooks, Nikko Brooks, Cori & Christopher Adkins, Jet Adkins, Nash Adkins, Joseph Zeit (Jennifer), Colette Zeit, Michael Zeit (Nell), Alyssa Wnek (Gregory), Mary Messer (Drew), Gina Rossetti, Claire Bryant, Sam Bryant, Tony Rossetti, Carolyn Rossetti, Stella Rossetti, Nick Rossetti, Lucas Rossetti, Grace Rossetti. Bob was a graduate of Indiana University and then went on to work in the insurance industry for 38 years. Bob was an avid Hoosier, Cubs, Bears, and Dayton Flyer Fan. He loved gardening, golf, dancing, music, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2020 1-5 pm at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020 10:00 am at Holy Cross Church, 724 Elder Ln, Deerfield, IL 60015. Interment will be private.
