Boyd, Christine Marie. January 14, 2020. Age 85 of Allen Park. Beloved wife of the late Edwin Dale. Loving mother of Gregory Dale (the late Debra), Michael Ray, and Kimberly Ann Boyd. Dear sister of Freda Alley. Dearest grandmother of Christopher Dale and Aaron Ray Boyd. Dear friend of Rosamma Kumar who adopted her as “Mom”. Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Ira Ballard and Virgie Stevens and her siblings Lillie Meade, Nola Justice, Martha Ellen Justice, Arnie Green, Arthur Stevens, Virgil Stevens, Kelsey Stevens, and Arnold Stevens Jr. She was a loyal and faithful member of Inter-City Baptist Church in Allen Park. Christine will be deeply missed by family and friends. Visitation Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 3- 8 p.m. at the Taylor Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23750 Goddard Road. (313) 291-1800. In state Monday 10:00 a.m. with a 11:00 a.m. funeral service to follow at Inter-City Baptist Church, 4700 Allen Road, Allen Park. Entombment Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
