Belchertown - Paul J. Nepus, 69, of Belchertown, passed away January 11, 2020 at home with his family by his side. Born in Holyoke, Paul was predeceased by his parents, Florian and Vivian (Depot) Czupkiewicz. Paul owned and operated Bay Road Inspection for many years before retirement. Paul is survived by daughters Crystal Nepus of Chicopee, Sarah Smith of Chicopee, and Audra Bessette and her husband Paul of Holyoke; siblings Peter Nepus of Victory Mills, NY, Philip Nepus and his wife Holly of Boscawen, NH, Trudy Giordano of Hudson, NH, and Gary Czupkiewicz and his wife Teresa of Belchertown; and grandchildren Christopher Nepus, and Mabelle and Maximus Bessette. In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by sister in law Christine Nepus and brother in law Rino Giordano. Paul always believed that life was an adventure to be lived. He loved riding his Harley, traveling, NASCAR, music, camping, and time spent with family and friends. At Paul's request, "Please don't stand over me in a stuffy suit and cry." So come as you are to honor the good times. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 12:00 P.M. at the Beers and Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St. A Visitation period will precede the service, beginning at 10:00 A.M.
