Belchertown, Julia (DeMeritt) Duprey, 51, passed away of a sudden illness on January 10, 2020. She was born on July 19, 1968 in Berwyn, IL to Leland DeMeritt of York, SC and Judith (Clements) Eness of WI. She has lived in Belchertown since 1998 and had formerly been the office manager for her husband's company Macdac Engineering until securing employment as a school bus driver 2 years ago for First Student in Belchertown. In her leisure, she enjoyed outdoor activities including biking and hiking. She loved children and games and activities with family. She was an active member of Christ Community Church giving her time to teaching Sunday school, singing, and offering hospitality to all. Besides her parents, she will be deeply missed by her husband of 25 years, Brian A. Duprey and her 2 sons, Evan and Levi, stepdaughter Tracy Paixao and her husband Cory of Agawam, and sister Judith Pamela Tan and her husband Andrew of Amherst. She also leaves her stepmother Susan DeMeritt, stepfather Harvey Eness, and granddaughter Arianna Paixao, along with many extended family and friends.
