Timothy Paul Hirons of Rochester Hills, MI passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the age of 54. Timothy was born in Syracuse, NY on April 26, 1965 to Robert Neal Hirons and Luella Joyce Hirons (nee Erickson). Tim was a graduate of Rochester Adams High School in 1983 and he later earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration & Systems Analysis from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. In his 30 year career, Tim, along with his brother Steve, opened a local computer graphics / vinyl sign business in 1990 that later became an ecommerce web merchant called PartyBanners.com. Throughout his life, Tim had myriad interests. Tim had a significant passion for cooking and enjoyed creating fantastic meals for friends and family. Tim loved adventure travel and made many trips through the years to the western U.S. for whitewater rafting and Jeeping on high-alpine trails in the Rocky Mountains. Tim also loved to play Slow-Pitch Softball and hit countless home runs in over 20 years of play. In later years, Tim enjoyed singing classical choral music with the highly-regarded Detroit Concert Choir. Tim will be so greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. He was a man of a gracious faith and was a caring, kind, and generous soul. We will also miss Tim’s clever wit and broad sense of humor. He certainly loved to laugh! Tim is survived by both of his parents, Robert & Luella Hirons; grandmother Esther Hirons; brother Steven Hirons; sister Cheryl Burford; aunts Charlotte Anderson and Dorothy Baderman; uncle William Hirons; nephews Shawn & Jameson Burford; niece Rachel Wilson; several grandnephews and a grandniece; and many cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
