May Bell Cowles

May Bell Cowles, 92, of Bowling Green entered into rest Monday, January 13, 2020 at Greenwood Nursing Home. May Bell was a native of Warren Co. and born on July 2, 1927. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Cowles, parents Albert Lee and Buelah Thomas Muntz, son Tony Cowles, daughter Donna Lillard and several brothers and sisters. May Bell was retired cafeteria worker from Bowling Green High School. She was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church and member of the adult Sunday School Class. She also helped her husband Ralph with bus ministery at Grace Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter Brenda Martino of Bowling Green, sister Ivory Meeks of Martinsville, KY and 6 wonderful grandchildren Angie Ferguson, John Upton, Jr., Jason Oliver, Jeff Oliver, Melissa Snodgrass and Maria Lillard. 9 precious great grandchildren and 3 precious great-great-grandchildren, which were triplets that were just born. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 16, 2020, 11 am at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday 9:00 am until time of services. Burial will be in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Expressions of Sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Bowling Green.
