Abdul Hassan Sala 'Uddin Lemon was born in Bridgeport, CT on November 13, 1981, to Carl Jerome Lemon and Valerie Carr. On January 10, 2020, Abdul was called to his heavenly home. Abdul graduated from Central Hight School’s Magnet Program in 1999 and attended The University of Connecticut at Storrs. He was employed as a Substitute Teacher in the Bridgeport Public School System from 2001-2007. Immediately thereafter he began his career in Mechanical Engineering, pursuing his passion of auto restoration and performance. He continued in this profession until his untimely passing. He will always be remembered as a loving son, devoted father and faithful friend. He was a very caring, outgoing and charismatic individual that was loved by all that came in contract with him. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and dog breeding (lovingly caring for his dogs). He also enjoyed spending time with his children and family. He was passionate about education, cultural values and extremely family oriented. As a very dedicated son, he was most concerned about his mother, whom he loved and highly treasured. He maintained an unwavering and unconditional love for immediate and extended family. Abdul was predeceased by paternal grandparents; Mr. Major Lemon and Mrs. Barbara Lemon and maternal grandparents; Mr. Bob Carr, Jr., and Mrs. Beatrice Carr. He was also predeceased by his sister, Givonna Nicole Cherry. He is survived by his parents, Carl Jerome Lemon of Naugatuck, CT and Reverend Valerie Carr of Bridgeport, CT. He is also survived by his wife Aisha Batson, and their children; Caleb Lemon, Nazanin Lemon, Izabella Lemon and Greyson Lemon; stepson, Preston Batson and Mother-in-law, Lis Johnson, his brother, Jelani Lemon and a host of other relatives and friends.
