Karen T. Gutzan, 70, of Whiting died Friday, April 15, 2016 at Community Medical Center, Toms River.  Karen was born in Neptune Township and had resided in Manalapan Township before moving to Whiting six years ago. She was a secretary for GM Repair Inc., Manalapan Township. Karen was a graduate of St. Rose of Lima School, Freehold and Freehold Regional High School, Class of 1964 where she was a majorette. She was a member of American Legion Post No. 434 Auxiliary, Englishtown. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Tilton. Surviving are her husband, Henry Gutzan; and a brother Robert Tilton. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of private arrangements.
