Three Rivers - John J. Doolin, 88, of Overlook Dr., passed away on January 5, 2020. Born Aug. 31, 1931 in Springfield, MA son of John and Margaret (Hiney) Doolin. John served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from the US Postal Service as a supervisor at the bulk mail facility. John was predeceased by his wife Bethany A. (Ridley) Doolin in 2016. He is survived by a step-daughter, Lauri Landry of Palmer, his sister, Mary LaValley of Ware, and nephews Mark and Michael LaValley. All service are private and Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
