Mrs. Phyllis A. Jagodynski, 91 of Lynn, peacefully passed away on December 29, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of the late Walter (Varcho) Jagodynski with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Devine. Phyllis is survived by her children , Stephanie Kramer, Bette Cheever, Walter (Bubba) Jagodynski; her grandchildren, Kristel, Melanie, Natalie, Luke, Michael, Rachel, Adam, Keith, Ginny, Jonathan, Stacia and Robert; her 21 great grandchildren; her twin sisters, Annette Spencer and Anita Miller of Newport News Virginia; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and her parents, Phyllis was predeceased by her daughter, Cathy Brennan and by her siblings, Arthur Devine, John Devine, Mary Fluery and Joyce Gratiano. Phyllis worked for many years at the Kowloon Restaurant in Saugus and at Rolly’s Restaurant in Lynn. Phyllis loved spending her spare time boating with her husband. Family and friends were always invited to go for a ride in “Papa’s boat” to do some fishing, lobstering and clamming. She also enjoyed visiting her sisters in Virginia every year, bowling with her friends on Monday mornings, cooking and family gatherings. She will be greatly missed. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rte.129) Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to her funeral. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Phyllis’ name to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Avenue, Salem, MA 01970.
