Eddie Jo Shaw passed away January 3, 2020 at his home after an extended illness. Services will be at 11am Saturday January 11, 2020 in Schwarz Funeral Home. Rev. Mary Bohall will officiate. Burial of ashes will follow in Restland Cemetery. Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will begin at 10am in the funeral home until service time. Ed was born December 14, 1960 in Mendota to Billy and Betty (Frey) Shaw. He attended Mendota High School and was a Truck Driver for many years with Roger Jameson Trucking. E.J. was a member of A.B.A.T.E. Survivors include his Mother : Betty Shaw of Mendota; one sister: Dessa (Keith) Collings of Mendota; daughter of his heart: Azure Moss and her children: Kamden Moss and Kyler Meyer; five nieces and nephews: Justin Collings, Meghan (Greg) Caley, Chelsey (Andrew) Maunu, Adam Hamilton, and Jake Hamilton; step niece and nephew: Ian (Julie) Hamilton and Valerie (Jamie) Humpfrey; 6 great nieces and nephews; and special cousins: Chad, Kevin, Ralph and Andrea. Ed was preceded in death by his Father in 1988, and sister Linda Hamilton 3/17/2012. Memorials may be directed to Nightingales or to the family.
