Darrell Duane Owens

Darrell Duane Owens, age 57 of Carrollton, passed away Friday, 15, 2016. He was born May 22, 1959 in Wayne County, Indiana to the late Russell Calvin Owens and Geraldine Spencer Owens. He worked as an automobile mechanic for many years and was a faithful member of Carrollton Fellowship Baptist Church, to which he considered to be his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly Owens; and special friend and caregiver, Rev. Bo Hendon. He is survived by three children, Darrell Duane Owens, Jr., Josie Owens, and Jerica Owens; his caregivers, The Allen family, Gloria and Walter Allen, and Jennifer Frazier. Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 3:00 PM from Carrollton Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. David Ayers and Rev. Jeff Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in Glenloch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 PM until the hour of service.
