Mr. Wesley T. McDaniel, age 47, of Gilmer passed away with his loved ones by his side on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Christus Health Center in Tyler, Texas. He was born on August 2, 1972 in Sedalia, Missouri to David L. McDaniel and Eleatha May McDaniel (Grubbs). Wes graduated from Greenville High and worked in construction before he found his career as Finance Manager in the automotive industry at various dealerships. He loved life and he enjoyed fishing every chance he got. He is survived by his wife of less than two months, Michelle Cooper McDaniel; his children, Tavis McDaniel, Taylor McDaniel, Samantha Jordan and Morgan Woodward and his grandchildren; Waylon McDaniel, Austin Jordan, Albert Jordan and new baby boy McDaniel Cooper. Wes is also survived by his siblings; Cindee Acker and husband Johnny of Douglas, Wyoming, David M. McDaniel and wife Amy of Quinlin, Texas and Brett McDaniel and wife Carla of Greenville, Texas. Many nieces, nephews and cousins are also left to cherish their memories of Wes. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Corley Funeral Home. The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, January 10, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tim Easley officiating.
