Charlene W. Fink Obituary

Charlene Fink, age 77, went to be with the Lord on Friday morning, January 3, 2020 after a time of failing health. She was born April 11, 1942 in Strong City, OK and grew up on the family farm at Strong City, Retrop and Cooperton. She was a graduate of Cooperton High School. She and husband Donnie moved to Mustang in 1960 where she was a stay at home Mom until her boys were raised when she went back to school and received a degree in Education from Central State University. She taught in Mustang Schools until retirement in 2002. She accepted the Lord in 1974 and was a member of Chisholm Heights Baptist Church in Mustang where she was very active as teacher, children’s director and in the choir. She also taught in VBS for 15 years. Charlene was preceded in death by her parents Doyle and Opal (Rogers) Walker. She is survived by three sons, Mike and Malinda of Hinton, Keith and Stephanie of Cashion and Jeff and Allison of Purcell. Also by ten grandchildren, four great grand children as well as one brother Charles Walker and wife Tona Mae, three sisters Irene Tyler and husband Jack, Faye Glass and Joyce McFarland and husband Donnie and a host of friends and church family. In lieu of flowers the family has ask that donations be made to Falls Creek Youth Camp in care of Chisholm Heights Baptist Church.
