Kevin P. Roche

Holland, Kevin P. Roche, 73, died peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at home following a long illness. He was born on October 30, 1946 in Palmer, and was the son of Bernard J. and Eileen (Kennedy) Roche. A graduate of Palmer High School, he served his country during the Vietnam era in the US Army. He was a 40 year member of the Thomas Lodge of Masons and worked as a purchasing agent for Sanderson Macleod before retiring after 40 years. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Anita (LaClair) Roche and his 2 children, Kelly Roche at home, and Timothy Roche and his wife Tara of Litchfield, NH, along with his 3 grandchildren, Teagan, Braeden and Kiernan. He also leaves his siblings David Roche and his wife Collette of Sturbridge, and Sandra Trombley of OH. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Bernard B. Roche. The family will receive friends at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home on Sunday, Jan. 5 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday starting at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home to be followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Church. Burial will be in the spring. For those wishing to honor his memory, donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital, 516 Carew St, Springfield, 01104, Baystate Hospice, 30 Capital Dr., W. Springfield, 01089 or American Cancer Society.
