Monica Tavares Born 27th May 1945 Died 30th December 2019 With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mrs Monica Trinidade Tavares, beloved wife of Manuel Edgar (Eddie) Tavares, adored Mother of Michelle (James MacDonald), Wendy and Vanessa Tavares. Monica loved to garden and travel and enjoyed cooking amazing meals for her family. Her beautiful smile will be greatly missed. Funeral arrangements as follows : Viewing On Sunday January 5th, 2020 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at St John’s Cemetery and Crematorium, 737 Dundas St East, Mississauga, Ontario L4Y 2B5. Funeral Mass on Monday January 6th, 2020 at 10:00am at Merciful Redeemer Parish, 2775 Erin Centre Blvd, Mississauga, Ontario L5M 5W2. Followed by a reception at St John’s Cemetery and Crematorium. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Monica’s favourite charity - Covenant House Toronto, 20 Gerard St E., Toronto ON M5B 2P3 Gone but never forgotten.
