Freddie Houston Walker, age 73 of Vixen, Louisiana was born October 11, 1946 in Rayville, Louisiana to the union of his parents, Willie Fred Walker and Eloise Tauton Walker and he passed from this life December 30, 2019 at Jackson, Mississippi. Freddie retired from Graphic Packaging in West Monroe after many years of employment there. He served our country in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Freddie was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pamela Jean-Carter Walker; his grandson, Wesley Todd Walker and his sister, Glenda Gale Jeselink. Those left to cherish his memory are his sons: Anthony Houston Walker (Carietta) and Todd Wesley Walker; daughter, Regina Ann Martien (Benjamin Jacob); sister, Sue Lynn Templeton (George); grandchildren: William Ashton Miller, Michael Lane Walker, Brittany Ann Miller, Anna Belle Walker, Kensley Paige Walker, Katelyn Elizabeth Loftin, Nathan Edward Crawford, Brittney Renee Brewer, Kennedy Kate Martien and Leah Grace Martien; great-granddaughters: Elizabeth Renee Miller and Victoria Lynn Brewer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. To honor his wishes, the family lovingly chose cremation. They will have a visitation for family and friends from 3 PM until 5 PM, Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia, Louisiana.
