ALICE JEAN POLZIN ALICE JEAN POLZIN Haysi, VA- Alice Jean Polzin, age 72, passed away Monday, December 30, 2019. Born in Clinchco, VA, she was a daughter of the late Stacy and Eva Anderson Wood. She was a Ervington High School graduate, a homemaker and was of the Christian faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Donald Edward, Jr. Polzin and brothers, Stacy Wood Jr. and J.C. Wood. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Donald Polzin, a son, Jeffrey (Tabitha Mullins) Polzin of Manassas, three grandchildren, Jacob Polzin, Nathaniel Polzin and Ethan Polzin. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Haysi Funeral Home with Freddy Boyd officiating and Dianne Gimpl and Sue Morran also taking part in service. Burial will follow in J.J. Wood Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. on Friday with Matt Fuller.
