Thomas J. Trippe – Monroe Township, NJ Thomas J. Trippe, 91, died on Monday December 30, 2019 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Thomas was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY; he resided in Staten Island, NY before moving to Monroe Township, NJ twenty three years ago. Thomas was employed by the New York Department of Corrections for twenty seven years retiring in 1985. He was a sports fan and enjoyed watching the NY Yankees, NY Giants and boxing. Thomas is preceded in death by his sister, Rose Marie Violano (2017). Thomas is survived by his loving wife of sixty six years, Mary Grace Trippe, son, Greg Trippe and his wife Marlene, daughter, Susan Gallo and her husband Greg, brother, Joseph Trippe, three grandchildren, Christopher Gallo and his wife Alyssa, Thomas Trippe and his wife Justine and Jaclyn Trippe and four great grandchildren, Eveilette Trippe, Cameron Gallo, Jeremy Gallo and Brooklynn Trippe. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 on Thursday January 2, 2020 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Friday from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, 185 Applegarth Rd, Monroe Twp., NJ followed by entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.
