Peter Kaloustian of Westwood NJ, formerly of Teaneck NJ, died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on December 30th, 2019 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of JoAnn Kaloustian of 59 years; loving father of April Sliwak (Dan), Peter R. Kaloustian (Leigh) and June Collignon (David); cherished brother of Maryann Artinian (Arthur). Predeceased by his brother Michael Kaloustian and survived by his grandchildren Christina (Bogdan), Erika, Austin (Morgan), Rebecca, Christian, Alexis, Sophia, and several nieces and nephews. Peter was born and raised in the Bronx, NY and had a 30-year career as a talented Lithographer and was a passionate watercolor artist. He was a proud Union member and active supporter throughout his career and until his passing. He was a devoted husband and father and always put his family first, encouraging them to be close, love the Lord and each other. He was a hard-working man of integrity who loved God and his country. He was a member of the Armenian Presbyterian Church serving in many roles including Elder, Deacon, and Coach of the youth sports teams. Most recently he attended the Church of the Risen King in Ramsey, NJ and actively supported Her Life Speaks Women’s Ministry. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, January 4th at The Church of The Risen King,15 Shuart Lane, Ramsey, NJ 07446 from 10AM to 11AM followed by a celebratory worship service of Peter’s life.
