Shelby Dilene Harper Reitz January 7, 1994- December 24, 2019 Shelby Dilene Harper Reitz, 25, of Navarre, Fl, passed away at her home on December 24, 2019.She was born at the Naval Hospital in Agana, Guam on January 7, 1994 to Paul and Yvonne (Garren) Harper. She completed high school in 2012 and earned her Associates Degree in Music from Pensacola State College. On February 24, 2018, Shelby married Jordan Reitz, AM2, USN in Pensacola, Florida. Shelby was preceded in death by her grandfather- Paul Harper; uncle- David Harper; and family friend- Mark Johnson. Shelby is survived by her husband- Jordan Reitz; parents- Paul and Yvonne Harper; brother- Garren Harper; and sister- Sarah Harper. Shelby was her mother’s heart, who made her a better person- bringing sunshine to her world every second, every minute, and every hour of everyday. Shelby was the spirit of her father; protector of her brother; and beloved to her husband. Unbeknownst to many, Shelby had the voice of an angel and she could always be heard singing. Her laughter lit up the room, and her heart filled every space with love. She will be sadly missed by all. Funeral services will be held at Trahan Family Funeral Home with the visitation beginning at 7:30 AM until the service begins at 8:00 AM. Following the service, there will be a procession to Barrancas National Cemetery for the burial at 10:00 AM. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
