Kitty Gleason

Kitty Gleason December 1919 – December 2019 It is with deep sorrow that the family of Kitty Gleason announces her transition to the afterlife Christmas night 2019. Kitty never wanted to miss a good party, so she left to help Jesus celebrate his birthday. Kitty was born in Indiana where she lived until she was a young girl, when she brought to Tucson by her mother for health reasons. Tucson served her well as she lived past 100 years. Kitty is survived by 2 children (Annette and Karen), as well as 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Kitty’s beloved husband Bill and her son David predeceased her and were waiting to welcome her home on the other side. Kitty was a devoted and loving Wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was happiest when she was spending time with family and friends. She recently enjoyed a great crowd of family and friends gathered to celebrate her 100th birthday. She really knew how to draw a crowd! We will greatly miss Kitty’s beautiful smile and her outstretched arms always so happy to welcome us near her. The family wishes to offer their sincere and deep appreciation to all of the staff of Desert Steppes Residential Care Home who treated Kitty as if she was their own mother with such great tenderness and attention.
