<p>Doye Basham, 75 of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in a local nursing home. He was owner/operator of an independent Insurance Agency in Van Buren having served as an agent for over 20 years. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Van Buren. He was preceded in death by both parents, William Perry & Dean (Looper) Basham.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral service will be at 10 AM Friday, February 27, 2015 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Union Ridge Cemetery in Dayton, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his wife, Jean Ann (Click) Basham of the home; one daughter, Anjie Cockrum of Hartman; two sons, Ernie Basham of Dodson, LA, Van Basham of Van Buren; one sister, Donna Brewer of Dayton, AR; one brother, Carrol Basham of Dayton, AR; seven grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Family will visit with relatives and friends Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 5-7 PM at Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren</p><p><br></p><p>Pallbearers will be Mike, Jeff & Brandon Brewer, Clinton, Carrol & Shelby Basham. </p><p><br></p>June 10, 1939 - February 24, 201506/10/193902/24/2015
