<p><p>Ana Hilda Cedeño, 80, of Newark, New Jersey, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on December 11, 2025, at Mountainside Medical Center.</p><br> <p>Born on July 14, 1945, in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, Ana was the beloved daughter of Pablo Crespo and Rosa María Cariño. From a young age, she learned the value of hard work, faith, and family—values she carried with her throughout her life.</p><br> <p>Ana was a gifted seamstress, working for many years before retiring. Through every stitch, she poured love, patience, and care into her work, always finding joy in creating something beautiful for others.</p><br> <p>Her faith was the foundation of her life. A devoted Pentecostal, Ana was a faithful member of&nbsp;Hermanos Unidos en Cristo, where she worshipped with deep reverence and gratitude. She drew comfort from prayer, strength from the Word of God, and joy from fellowship with others. Ana was deeply committed to her church and community, serving with dedication as the coordinator of the church food bank. Through this ministry, she demonstrated steadfast compassion and a lifelong commitment to serving those in need.</p><br> <p>She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eliseo Cedeño, whom she loved deeply and now rejoins in eternal rest and her sister Mirna.</p><br> <p>Ana’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She leaves behind her loving children: Rosemarie, Phillip Edward, his wife Elizabeth Suarez-Cedeño, Jeffrey, and Aimee; and her precious grandchildren: Lyanna Marie, Jeremy Austin Rodriguez, Sophia Bellamina Cedeño, and Elijah Antonio John, who were the light of her life.</p><br> <p>She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings: Emilia, Dalila, Gamaliel, Sigfredo, David, Elba, María Esther, María Judith, and Pablo, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.</p><br> <p>Ana will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her kind heart, her unwavering faith, and the unconditional love she gave to everyone she met. Her memory will live on in the stories shared, the prayers spoken, and the lives she touched so deeply.</p><br> <p>Visitation will be on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Zuasola Funeral Homes of New Jersey, LLC. 101 Union Ave., Belleville, NJ 07109.</p><br> <p>Interment will be at Cemetrio De Sabana in Luquillo, Puerto Rico under the professional care of Luquillo Funeral Home.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Ana Hilda Cedeño, de 80 años, residente de Newark, Nueva Jersey, partió en paz a la presencia del Señor el 11 de diciembre de 2025, en el Mountainside Medical Center.</p><br> <p>Nació el 14 de julio de 1945 en Fajardo, Puerto Rico, hija amada de Pablo Crespo y Rosa María Cariño. Desde muy joven aprendió el valor del trabajo arduo, la fe y la familia—valores que la acompañaron durante toda su vida.</p><br> <p>Ana fue una talentosa costurera, oficio que ejerció por muchos años hasta su jubilación. En cada puntada ponía amor, paciencia y dedicación, encontrando siempre alegría en crear algo hermoso para los demás.</p><br> <p>Su fe fue el cimiento de su vida. Devota pentecostal, Ana fue una fiel miembro de Hermanos Unidos en Cristo, donde adoraba con profunda convicción y un corazón agradecido. Hallaba consuelo en la oración, fortaleza en la Palabra de Dios y gozo en la comunión con los hermanos.</p><br> <p>Le precedieron en la muerte su amado esposo, Eliseo Cedeño, a quien amó profundamente y con quien ahora descansa en la eternidad, y su hermana Mirna.</p><br> <p>El mayor orgullo y alegría de Ana fue su familia. Le sobreviven sus queridos hijos: Rosemarie, Phillip Edward, Jeffrey y Aimee; y sus preciosos nietos: Lyanna Marie, Jeremy Austin Rodriguez, Sophia Bellamina Cedeño y Elijah Antonio John, quienes fueron la luz de su vida.</p><br> <p>También es recordada con amor por sus hermanos: Emilia, Dalila, Gamaliel, Sigfredo, David, Elba, María Esther, María Judith y Pablo, así como por muchos sobrinos, familiares extendidos y entrañables amigos.</p><br> <p>Ana será recordada por su espíritu gentil, su corazón bondadoso, su fe inquebrantable y el amor incondicional que brindó a todos los que conoció. Su memoria vivirá en las historias compartidas, en las oraciones elevadas y en las vidas que tocó tan profundamente.</p><br> <p>Velatorio: jueves, 18 de diciembre de 2025, de 4:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m., en Zuasola Funeral Homes of New Jersey, LLC, 101 Union Ave., Belleville, NJ 07109.</p><br> <p>Sepelio: Cementerio de Sabana, en Luquillo, Puerto Rico, bajo la dirección profesional de Luquillo Funeral Home.</p></p>
