Rena M. Maguire
<p>Rena M. Maguire, 90, of Oil City, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at the Caring Place.</p><p><br></p><p>Born on February 1, 1935, in Campbell, MO, she was the daughter of the late David F. and Nettie M. (Price) Allen.</p><p><br></p><p>Rena was a graduate of Campbell High School.</p><p><br></p><p>On June 15, 1956, she married Hubert B. Maguire. He preceded her in death on June 11, 2017, leaving Rena to cherish the over 60 years of marriage they had shared.</p><p><br></p><p>Rena worked many jobs over the years but most recently was a teacher’s aide at Smedley Elementary School in Oil City.</p><p><br></p><p>During her free time, she enjoyed watching Gone with the Wind and collecting the commemorative collectable plates that accompanied the film.</p><p><br></p><p>Left to cherish her memory are her children, Diana Hillyard of Oil City, Gina Wagner and her husband, Rob, of York, and Alan Maguire of Cranberry Township; her grandchildren, Matthew, Richard, and Kira Hillyard, Michaela, Katrena, and Jennica Wagner, and Ryan and Kaitlin Maguire.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents and husband, Rena is preceded in death by her son, William Maguire, as well as her grandchildren, Sean and Kelly Maguire.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited for a visitation on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 12 to 1:00pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Inc. A funeral service for Rena will be held immediately following the visitation at 1:00pm with Rev.
