<p>Lymon Lee Brunson, 89, widower of Jacqueline Regena Mixon Brunson, died Sunday, July 6, 2025, at NHC Healthcare-Sumter.</p><p><br></p><p>Born April 28, 1936, in Sumter County, he was a son of the late Washington Lee “Watt” Brunson, and the late Loulie Marie Newman Brunson. He was a member of Concord Presbyterian Church.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include three children, Chris Brunson and Keby Brunson, both of Sumter, and Brandi Brunson of Auburn, AL; three grandchildren, Courtney Brunson, Tanner Brunson, and Cassidy Brunson; 2 great-granddaughters, Emma and Ava; and two sisters, Marie Burns of Sumter and Patricia Muldrow of Mayesville.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Washington M. “Wattie” Brunson.</p><p><br></p><p>A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Concord Presbyterian Church cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Elmore-Cannon Stephens Funeral Home.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorials may be sent to Concord Presbyterian Church, 3350 E Brewington Road, Sumter, SC 29153.</p><p><br></p>April 28, 1936 - July 6, 202504/28/193607/06/2025
